Terms of Use

Effective 25 August 2026

These are the terms between you and Vladyslav Yaremenko, trading as Dotmy (“I”, “me”), for the Runway app and for this website. By installing or using Runway you accept them. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the app.

They are written to be read. Where the law where you live gives you rights these terms can’t take away, those rights win.

What Runway is

Runway is a planning tool. You enter your accounts, debts, income and spending; it projects them forward month by month, tells you how long your money would last, and lets you try scenarios and set goals. It does not connect to your bank, hold your money, or move it. Every number it shows is arithmetic on what you typed in and the assumptions you can see and change.

Not financial advice

Nothing in Runway is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and I am not a licensed adviser. Projections are not predictions: they show what follows from your inputs if nothing else changes, and something always does. Decisions about your money are yours. For advice on your own situation, talk to a qualified professional.

Your data

What you enter stays on your device and belongs to you. You are responsible for its accuracy — the app can only be as right as its inputs — and for backing up your device if you want to keep it. Deleting your data from Settings is permanent; I have no copy to restore. How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Who can use Runway

You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live — usually 18 — or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission. You must use Runway only where doing so is lawful.

Free and Premium

The core of Runway is free. Premium unlocks additional features — what exactly is included is shown on the Premium screen before you buy, and may change as the app grows.

Premium is sold two ways: a one-time Lifetime purchase, or a subscription billed monthly or yearly. Both are bought from Apple or Google, in your store account, at the price the store shows at the time. Lifetime means for as long as Runway is available on the store you bought it from, on the devices signed in to that store account.

Subscriptions

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period — month or year — at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Your store account is charged when the purchase is confirmed, and again within 24 hours before each renewal.

You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; Runway’s Settings screen links there. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge; you keep Premium until the period runs out. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

If a price changes, the store tells you in advance and, where it requires it, asks you to agree before the new price applies. If you don’t agree, the subscription ends with the current period.

There are no free trials at the moment. If I offer one, its length and what happens when it ends will be shown before you start it.

Refunds

Payments are taken by Apple or Google, and refunds are decided by them under their own policies; requests go through their refund pages, and I will help where I can. Nothing here limits a statutory right to a refund where you live.

Your licence

You have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Runway on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the store’s own terms. You may not copy, sell, rent or sublicense the app; reverse-engineer or extract its source code except where the law expressly allows it; bypass or interfere with Premium or any other part of the app; or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

Ownership

Runway — the app, its design, code, name and content — is mine. Your data is yours. Nothing in these terms gives either of us the other’s.

Changes to the app

Runway will change. Features may be added, altered or retired, and the app may one day stop being distributed. Where I can, I will give notice of changes that take something away from paying users. Your data stays on your device throughout.

No warranty

Runway is provided as it is. I don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its projections are accurate or right for you. Where the law where you live gives you guarantees that can’t be excluded, they apply.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or savings, loss of data, or any decision you make on the basis of what Runway shows. My total liability to you for anything arising from Runway is limited to what you paid for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Apple and Google

The app stores’ own terms also apply to how you got Runway. For the iOS app, Apple asks that you know the following: this licence is between you and me, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; if the app fails to meet a warranty you may tell Apple, who may refund the price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation; Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product-liability, consumer-protection and intellectual-property claims; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not in a country under a United States government embargo and not on any United States list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, and disputes go to the courts of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date, and the app points you to it if the change matters. Continuing to use Runway after that means the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, stop using the app and, if you have a subscription, cancel it.
